Old Man Doom Remembered to buy this. Alunah kicks so much doomy ass. Great vocals with the new singer and excellent riffage to accompany the mood the songs set. Favorite track: Dance of Deceit.

Agent K Alunah have not missed a step in adding new Vocalist Sian Greenaway to the fold replacing founding vocalist Sophie Day.
The Sabbathian Riffage still remains as Alunah guitarists have always worshipped at the Iommi Altar.
The New Blood injected into the band has definitely had a rejuvenating effect for all proceedings contained within remain as testament to Alunah's powerful Doom Mastery.
They continue to be a worthy successor to the most famous Band ever to come out of Birmingham UK. Favorite track: Lake Of Fire.

about

Losing two founding members in as many years would end some bands. However, ever since vocal sorceress Sian Greenaway’s arrival in 2017, Alunah’s regeneration has been nothing but spellbinding. If last year’s impressive "Amber & Gold" EP weren’t proof enough, then this new album assuredly finds the Birmingham doom cult reincarnated through fire. Flickering with sultry harmonies beneath a dense mist of Sabbathian riffs, the quartet’s fifth album flirts with a brooding darkness, packed throughout with a confidence so fervent it’s easy to forget guitarist Dean Ashton is new to the fold. This is no fleeting dalliance either, and the chemistry on display is intense, manifesting itself as a burst of thunder in "Trapped And Bound", ethereal passion in "Hunt" and pure ecstasy in the climatic "Lake Of Fire". Powerful yet seductive, "Violet Hour" is poised to give Alunah a new lease of life where they might have simply faded away.
